Haroon meets Mujib in Gopalganj
Mr. Yusuf Haroon, who had come to Dacca on Friday night from Lahore, meet the Awami League Leader Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on Saturday at his village home, near Gopalganj town in Faridpur district.
Asked by APP about the purpose of his visit, on his return to Dacca in the evening, Mr. Haroon said: “I am not in politics. I just went to meet my friend (Sheikh Mujib) and say Eid Mubarak to him.”
Mr. Haroon had gone to Gopalganj by a chartered PIA Helicopter, which could not locate the place first and returned to Dacca to go there again in the afternoon carrying him.
Mr. Haroon left Dacca on Saturday night for Karachi.
